The Trail Blazers couldn't bounce back from a 13-point halftime deficit in Sunday's 118-89 loss to the visiting Heat. Ruben Patterson led four Portland players in double figures with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor. Zach Randolph added 14 points and Travis Outlaw chipped in with 12.

Jerry Stackhouse hit a baseline jumper with one-tenth of a second remaining to clinch the Mavericks' 104-102 road victory over Boston on Monday. Jason Terry led the attack with 30 points, while Dirk Nowitzki added 26. Stackhouse scored 20, but the final two points were the ones that sealed Dallas' league-leading 13th road win. The Mavs will look for number 14 against the Knicks on Wednesday.
