1. I decided to try Klipsch speakers based on the generally great reviews. I was attracted the high sensitivity as I like to play it loud.
Overall, good speakers and worth auditioning (may be just right for some people) but for me I was disappointed and they weren't worth the money.

1.SOUNDSTAGE-DETAIL-WARMTH-IMAGING. WONDERFUL WITH HOME THEATRE. ENOUGH BASS FOR MUSIC, BUT WILL NEED SUB FOR HT.

2.i had first when to brack electronic only because it was close to were i was working, i was pretty set on buying paradigm ref. studio 60's. Thr OM-9 was had a more alive sound then the paradigm, the omnipolar sounds works wonders for HT and the imaging on 2ch doesn't suffer to badly, music isn't as strong as HT but for a 1800 spk its a great mix. When i first got the spk the few things a noticed were that the build quality on this unit is very high. the panels are REAL wood and the binding posts are far behond anything else in this price range. I didn't find a huge change after breakin but that could just be me. The one real weakness of the OM-9 is that is seams really laid back you get the impression that it keeps wanting to play loder and continues to sound better when you do turn it up. For just music i might have gone for the paradigm 60's but for system thats does both the mirage is alittle better. All in all i like the mirage OM-9 its a great value and with a nice amp to drive it, it will sing to you heart delight.

3.A great speaker for serious music listeners. Less perfect for the surround sound movie viewer or pop music fan.

4.The way it sits right now, the Mirage OM series has a tiered set of price points, starting with the OM-9s at $1,300 (cherry) and topping out with the unbelievable OM-1s (available this Fall) at over $25,000.  Now, having come out with these two new speakers to add to the existing OM-7 and OM-5, Mirage has left themselves just enough room to add another speaker to this impressive line, namely, the OM-9s.  The Omnipolar sound is not for everybody, and is subject to personal taste just like, for example, the sound of horn speakers.   If you've been in the market for a speaker that looks at good as it sounds, you need to take a long look (and listen) to the OM-9s.

哈，不要两个放在一起比较了，不很公平的，本来也没太大的可比性，已经有很多人评过了~~
不论是号角或者Omnipolar，没有一种喇叭的声音会适合所有的人，选喇叭要看自己的品味和欣赏水平~~
适合你的就是好的吧？
