Healer of Hearts" is a very impressive 2CD collection, featuring his most popular tracks from the "Black and White" Series on disc 1, and the best of his original compositions on disc 2. All the tracks have been newly recorded, resulting in the excellent musical clarity and production values synonymous with Real Music.I enjoyed disc 1, featuring many familiar melodies, but given the "magic touch" by Danny. He is certainly a talented pianist and his technique is so flawless, that he makes it seem effortless to play these complex tunes. I was impressed by the inclusion of Vangelis's "Missing" and rate it highly. It is not quite up to the original, but it is close, and I consider that to be a huge compliment.For me, disc 2 is where it all comes alive. I love original music, and many of these compositions I was hearing for the first time. How I enjoyed Tracks 11 and 13. "Song for Lea" is a lovely melody, and Danny's style of playing this particular track reminded me very much of a typical Wayne Gratz masterpiece. The final track, "Time Windows" is particularly beautiful, and is the perfect way to end this hugely enjoyable disc.The CD is well presented- the style of presentation quite revolutionary for Real Music. With 25 tracks on 2CDs, it is clearly excellent value for money.Highly melodic, stylishly played and extremely enjoyable. I can certainly recommend it!
