Hawks Bounce Bucks in Rout
The Hawks went on a 15-2 run in the first quarter and never looked back, as they defeated the Bucks in easy fashion at home Tuesday, 103-80. The Hawks, who led by as many as 30 in the third quarter, saw seven players score in double figures. Tyronn Lue posted a team-high 18 points and Antoine Walker added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Hornets Shine in Big Apple
The Hornets used a game-ending 8-2 run Tuesday night to top the Knicks 88-82. Baron Davis scored 21 and handed out 10 assists and P.J. Brown added 17 points and 12 boards for New Orleans, which led by as many as 11. Lee Nailon also had a strong game, finishing with 18 points.

Gilbert Arenas came up with two big buckets and a key steal in the last minute of the game as the Wizards fended off a furious fourth-quarter rally from Portland on Wednesday, defeating the Blazers 104-100 at MCI Center. Arenas and Larry Hughes each scored 26 points for Washington, which completed a five-game homestand undefeated and improved to 20-13 on the season.

Caron Butler scored a team-high 18, but the Lakers trailed by 14 at halftime and never recovered, losing 95-83 to the Nuggets. Kobe Bryant scored 16 and Lamar Odom added a double-double.

HEAT Trip Up Warriors
Shaquille O'Neal ruled the lane, scoring 26 and pulling down 12 rebounds on Wednesday for the HEAT, who won 98-91 at Golden State. Udonis Haslem added 22 points and 10 rebounds for Miami, which played without injured guard Dwyane Wade.

Phoenix got outscored by 18 points in the paint Wednesday and fell 115-108 at Utah. Quentin Richardson posted a team-high 24 points and Steve Nash added 22 and 11 assists.
Mehmet Okur has been integral in the last two Jazz wins.

Chicago outscored Philadelphia by 25 points after the break en route to a 110-78 home win on Wednesday. Rookie Ben Gordon starred with a game-high 31 points and Eddy Curry checked in with 24. The Bulls have won five straight and host New York on Saturday
