Marshall’s OT Treys Lift Cavaliers Past Clippers

LeBron James scored six of his 28 points in overtime.

The Clippers hung tough on Wednesday but fell 112-105 in OT at Cleveland in a tight contest that saw neither team lead by double figures. Elton Brand poured in 33 points and snared 13 rebounds, and Sam Cassell scored 26 points to go with 10 assists

Baron Davis is a big reason why Golden State has 11 wins through November for the first time since 1974.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim's three-point play with 1:17 left cut the deficit to four, but Sacramento got no closer down the stretch and fell 113-106 Wednesday at Golden State. Abdur-Rahim finished with a season-high 24 points, Bonzi Wells scored 23 and Mike Bibby added 20.

Tony Parker scored 20 second-half points Thursday night.

Dallas had a chance to tie Thursday's home game in the final seconds but Dirk Nowitzki missed a long baseline jumper and the Mavericks fell 92-90 to the Spurs. Marquis Daniels scored 24 points and Jason Terry 18 in the closely contested intrastate matchup as neither side built a double-digit lead.

Bryant finished with 30 points, Smush Parker added 21 and Lamar Odom racked up 12 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.
