With the score tied and 0.6 seconds left in overtime, Kobe Bryant drained a jumper with two Nuggets in his face to lift the Lakers to a thrilling 99-97 win in Denver on Wednesday. Bryant's 33 points helped Los Angeles usher in the 2005-06 regular season and the return of Phil Jackson to its sideline on a positive note.
