Sacramento's offense clicked into high gear on Tuesday, highlighted by a 43-point third quarter, in a convincing 119-83 win over Utah. Mike Bibby scored 25 points to lead six Kings in double figures, and Bonzi Wells added 15 to go with 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Fine Start Continues for Cassell, Clippers

The Clippers are off to their best start in franchise history

A trio of Clippers scored over 20 points as Los Angeles raced out to a big early lead and coasted from there in Tuesday's 109-85 home win over the Bucks. Sam Cassell did the most damage for the Clippers, who led by as many as 31 points, scoring 23 and dishing out 9 assists. Corey Maggette (21 points in 29 minutes) and Elton Brand (20 points and a game-high 11 rebounds) also had strong games for the Clippers, who next face the Lakers on Friday in a STAPLES Center "road" game.

Iverson's 42 points trumped James' 38 in the Sixer win.

Raptors Fall Short
The Raptors came close but in the end they weren't able to comeback all the way in a 121-115 loss to the 76ers. Mike James had another strong game with 36.

Kobe Bryant broke loose for a season-high in scoring Wednesday and the Lakers captured a 97-92 home win over the Knicks. Bryant scored 29 of his 42 points after halftime and Chris Mihm and Lamar Odom had 14 and 13, respectively.

Almost. Tracy McGrady dominated the fourth quarter but could not lead the Rockets all the way back from a 20-point deficit Thursday in San Antonio as the Rockets fell to the Spurs 86-80. Houston falls to 3-5 on the young season while San Antonio improves to 7-2. Thursday's loss was the 16th in a row by Houston to San Antonio on the road and the Rockets remain winless at SBC Center.


Tony Parker scored 17 points and delivered eight assists on Thursday night.
